btw. Toruń is the city where Mikolaj Kopernik was born.

Next door to Madame Tussauds you can find the London Planetarium. I was there in summer 2001. The show it presents makes the impression that you are in a spaceship, you hear the voice of the captain and his assistant. There is a countdown in the beginning and then you are starting your space trip through our solar system and the galaxy. You can observe sun, different planets, star explosion and so on. It is a combination of a little of education with a feeling of being travelling in the space:)

It is good to visit it also from practical point of view. If you are also interested in Madame Tussauds Museum and there are usual long lines to it, you can go to Planetariums ticket office, where line is much shorter, and buy tickets for both museum and planetarium there.

Planetarium in Hamburg offers its audience completely different experience. There is no voice, no comments, no education info. All you could hear on our show was music from the album of Pink Floyd "Dark side of the moon". Changing pictures, different colours, lasers and other visual effects perfectly synchronized with the music are truly amazing. You dont learn but entertain. I visited it in spring 2004.
