Sledging in Switzerland
Forget skiing and snowboarding! It is not even half fun as sledging, especially sledging in Switzerland.
so here the story goes...
We (10 people) went for sledging weekend, project organised by Aiesec students in Bern.
It was in winter 2003, I dont remember the name of this sledging place (Luzia, maybe you can be a help).
First crazy driving,..
Our only map flew through car window on the way:)
Crossing the swiss boarder. We were lucky not being stopped - as our columbian friend didnt have passport with him and of course was not allowed to enter this country without visa.
Our car team.
We got to Bern and were waiting to be picked up by swiss aiesecers.
That is how they were supposed to recognise us.
Eating swiss fondue (first one in my life).
Cheese was really smelly:))
Packing sledges.
Going up...
...and upper...
...still upper...
...and then we climbed even upper.
Here excited sledging group.
It was really cold. Me and Natasha - dream team.
Here greek and indian guy, suffering from extreme (for them) coldness.
Meeting Santa Claus on the way.
Having a break, tired but still excited.
Sorry I dont have any photos from sledging track.
Believe me, sledging was very fast, quite dangerous (one girl twisted her ankle) but PURE FUN.
It took us the whole day long to sledge down this mountain.
We were driving home the whole sunday night. Came home at 6am and went to work already at 9am.
That weekend was great.
Thanks guys for doing this!!!
